Building a good reputation

The vital ingredient in successful marketing, internet or otherwise, is building a reputation as a trustworthy salesperson. Specifically for internet marketing, most people make the mistake of focusing on their webpages or product.

If you have built a good reputation, you will be successful in whatever you do. And when you have trust from others, they will flock to you when you have a new product to promote. They will know that if you have endorsed or made a product, you will guarantee quality and value for money. Effectively, you have made your own personal brand.

To start off, build a reputation. Project what qualities you value and be what you want or dream of becoming. Then it becomes easier as an internet marketer.

Action Task: [Focus on this initially for the first 2 to 4 weeks]
Network in forums having like-minded people; learn from the experts and teach those who are willing to learn. Set forth and build a good baseline reputation among your peers.
